LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH 25th ANNIVERSARY, 1990

Ext03.jpg

One of just 57 original RHD examples of the ‘Anniversary’, Lamborghini’s final evolution of its extraordinary Countach model, chassis KLA12958 was especially ordered in Arancio Miura to match the owner’s LP400 Periscopica and appropriately registered A 3 DUU.

The car has covered just 3,962 miles from new and is possibly now unique in having been in the hands of strictly that one owner from new.

Ordered directly from Lamborghini and supplied through the UK importer Portman, the impeccable history file details lengthy correspondence prior to delivery, not least regarding the choice of colour, since Arancio Miura was not one of the Company’s listed colours in 1990. Following intervention from Valentino Balboni, Lamborghini capitulated.

In 1995 the car was placed in long-term storage, re-emerging only relatively recently in 2017, at which point nearly £18,000 was spent with Colin Clarke Engineering in recommissioning works alone.

It seems almost superfluous to describe the condition of the car, however it is not just completely original but absolutely beyond criticism.

The car is supplied with the aforementioned correspondence, all service invoices, original Lamborghini driver’s pack complete with all books, both sets of keys, all tools, a pair of Lamborghini driving gloves and a bespoke tailored Portman Lamborghini car cover.

The original registration number, A3 DUU, (A for Anniversary, 3 DUU a nod to the sister LP400) will remain with the car.

The car is presently UK registered.
