MERCEDES-BENZ C230 SE ESTATE ‘ELEGANCE’, 2005

Mercedes C230

This beautiful example has not only enjoyed just one owner from new, but the mileage stands at a very modest total of less than 65,000 miles and features the rarely seen and enjoyable 6-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, the car was specified with almost every available option.

First registered on 11th January 2005, this C 230 Kompressor Estate was supplied new in Guernsey, by Jacksons, Mercedes-Benz main agent for the Channel Islands. As top of the 4-cylinder range, as well as being the most powerful, the 230 also enjoys impressive fuel economy, with in excess of 40mpg consistently achieved on a cross-country run. Ordered to SE specification and to Elegance trim, this particular car has a level of standard and optional equipment rarely seen on any C-Class Mercedes;

Metallic paint (Perlite Grey - code 747)

Full leather upholstery (Porcelain - code 215)

6-speed manual transmission

Air conditioning / climate control

Electric tilting & sliding sunroof

Electrically operated front seats

Electric windows x4

Burr walnut dashboard and door cappings

Parktronic parking sensors front and rear

Alloy wheels

Electrically folding door mirrors

Cruise control

Automatically dipping rear view mirrors (interior & exterior)

Leather trimmed and colour coded multi function steering wheel

Automatic lights

Mercedes overrugs

Hard boot liner

In addition to being one of the highest specification C-Class estates it’s probably possible to find, this car has also enjoyed a charmed and cosseted life. This is perfectly exemplified by the fact that the Factory protecting film for the radio / cd unit in the dashboard has never been removed (it’s possibly time it was, but that is a decision for the new owner, rather than me). The spare wheel has never been used and the special nuts for it are still in their unopened Mercedes packaging. The burr walnut is unmarked throughout and the leather shows only the mildest signs of light use. The first aid kit has never been opened.

Mechanically, too, the car appears to have wanted for nothing, with all books present in their original Mercedes wallet and a separate A4 file of paperwork and invoices. The service book reveals a fully stamped history and within the last four months a complete set of four correct specification Michelin tyres has been fitted and the tracking checked and adjusted.

Almost due a service, this will be carried out by a Mercedes-Benz main agent prior to sale and is included in the price. The car will be supplied with UK V5 registration document, 12 months MoT and both original keys.
